Gangnam Hub is a Korea-based retailer and wholesaler of Korean cosmetics, skincare, makeup and beauty products. For consumers purchasing through the website, these Terms are intended to operate consistently with the Korean Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce and other applicable Korean consumer-protection laws.

  1. Acceptance and Scope

These Terms apply to purchases and use of gangnamhub.com. Additional product-specific conditions, shipping information, return instructions, promotions or notices displayed before an order may form part of the agreement, provided they do not reduce rights granted to consumers by mandatory law.

Where a customer purchases products for commercial resale or as a wholesale/business customer, additional written wholesale terms or a quotation may apply. If a mandatory consumer-protection rule applies to a transaction, these Terms do not exclude or reduce that statutory protection.

  1. Product Information

Gangnam Hub makes reasonable efforts to provide accurate product names, descriptions, ingredients, sizes, images, prices and other product information.

Packaging, labels, ingredients, colors, appearance and other product details may change because manufacturers periodically update their products. Where a manufacturer has changed packaging or labeling while the underlying product remains the same, the delivered product may differ visually from the image shown online.

For cosmetics and skincare products, customers should review the product information, ingredients, directions and warnings provided on the product packaging before use. Gangnam Hub does not provide medical advice and product information on the website should not be treated as a medical diagnosis or treatment recommendation.

  1. Authenticity

Gangnam Hub specializes in genuine Korean beauty products sourced in South Korea. We do not intentionally sell counterfeit products.

Product packaging may vary by production period, market, reformulation or manufacturer update. Such differences do not by themselves mean that a product is counterfeit.

  1. Prices, Taxes and Additional Costs

Prices displayed on the website are the prices applicable at the time of purchase unless otherwise stated.

Any mandatory delivery charges, applicable taxes, duties or other required costs will be disclosed at the relevant stage of the transaction where they can reasonably be determined.

For international orders, import duties, customs charges, local taxes or other destination-country charges may be imposed by the destination country. Unless Gangnam Hub expressly states otherwise for a particular order, such destination-country charges are the responsibility of the recipient where legally permitted.

Gangnam Hub will not use website design or checkout practices intended to conceal mandatory costs or mislead consumers about the total amount payable.

  1. Orders and Contract Formation

Customers are responsible for reviewing their selected products, quantities, shipping information, payment information and total price before submitting an order.

After an order is submitted, Gangnam Hub may send an order-received or order-confirmation message. A transaction may be subject to product availability, payment authorization and other lawful conditions.

If an ordered product cannot be supplied, Gangnam Hub will notify the customer without undue delay and, where required for a prepaid transaction, refund the amount or take the legally required refund measures.

Gangnam Hub may cancel an order where necessary because of a clear pricing or listing error, suspected fraudulent activity, inability to supply the product, or other lawful reason. Where a cancellation affects a payment already made, the applicable refund will be processed in accordance with law.

  1. Payment

Available payment methods are those displayed at checkout or otherwise agreed for the order. Payment may be processed by an external payment provider.

Gangnam Hub may require payment authorization or verification before dispatch. If payment is not successfully completed, the order may not be processed.

Gangnam Hub will not knowingly retain full payment-card credentials where those details are handled by the relevant payment provider.

  1. Shipping and Delivery

Gangnam Hub offers domestic and international delivery depending on product, destination and service availability.

Domestic delivery estimates shown on the website are estimates and may vary due to weekends, public holidays, inventory processing, courier conditions or other circumstances.

International delivery times may vary significantly because of customs clearance, destination-country procedures and local courier operations. A customs delay or a delay caused by a third-party carrier does not automatically constitute a failure to supply, but Gangnam Hub will provide reasonable assistance where appropriate.

For prepaid domestic transactions, Gangnam Hub will take the legally required steps to supply the goods within the applicable period or within the separately agreed delivery period. If Gangnam Hub becomes unable to supply an order, we will notify the customer and take the refund measures required by law.

Customers should provide an accurate recipient name, address, telephone number and any information required for delivery. Additional costs caused by an incorrect or incomplete address may be charged where legally permitted and clearly communicated.

  1. Order Cancellation Before Dispatch

Customers may request cancellation before dispatch through the available customer-service channel. Gangnam Hub will process cancellation requests where the order has not already entered a stage where cancellation is not reasonably possible.

If an order has already been dispatched, the request may be handled as a return/withdrawal request under Section 10 rather than as a simple pre-dispatch cancellation.

  1. Returns and Statutory Right of Withdrawal

For consumer purchases governed by Korean electronic-commerce law, the statutory right of withdrawal generally applies within 7 days from the date the consumer receives the written contract information, or, if later, from the date the goods are supplied. Where the written contract information was not properly provided or the consumer could not exercise the right for a statutory reason, the law may provide a different starting point.

Accordingly, Gangnam Hubโ€™s previous website statement that return requests must be submitted within 2 days is replaced by this statutory 7-day framework for transactions to which Korean consumer law applies.

A consumer generally bears the cost of returning goods when exercising a lawful withdrawal for a change of mind. Gangnam Hub does not charge a cancellation penalty or damages merely because the consumer exercises a lawful withdrawal.

If the goods are defective, damaged, incorrect, or materially different from the contract or advertising, the applicable statutory remedies apply and Gangnam Hub will bear the return cost where required by law.

  1. Circumstances in Which Withdrawal May Be Restricted

The statutory right of withdrawal is subject to the exceptions provided by Korean law. Depending on the product and circumstances, withdrawal may be restricted where, for example:

  • The goods were destroyed or damaged due to the consumerโ€™s responsibility, except where packaging was damaged only to inspect the contents.
  • The consumer has used or partially consumed the goods in a manner that substantially reduces their value.
  • The value of the goods has substantially decreased over time so that resale is difficult.
  • The packaging of goods that can be reproduced has been damaged, where the statutory exception applies.
  • Another statutory exception applies under the relevant law or enforcement provisions.

Gangnam Hub will not use a blanket โ€œno returns after openingโ€ rule where such a rule would unlawfully restrict a consumerโ€™s statutory rights. Where a statutory exception applies, the required information will be provided in a clear and accessible manner.

  1. Returns for Cosmetics and Beauty Products

For cosmetics and beauty products, customers should avoid using the product if they intend to request a return. Where a product has been used, partially consumed, contaminated, or otherwise changed in a way that substantially reduces its value, the statutory conditions for withdrawal may no longer be satisfied.

Opening packaging merely to inspect the contents does not automatically eliminate a statutory withdrawal right where Korean law provides otherwise. Each return will be assessed according to the applicable statutory rules and the actual condition of the product.

  1. Return Procedure

To request a return, cancellation, exchange or refund, contact Gangnam Hub at contact@gangnamhub.com and provide the order number, customer name, product concerned, reason for the request and relevant photographs where appropriate.

Do not send a return to an address obtained from an unrelated source. Gangnam Hub will provide the appropriate return instructions and address.

Customers should retain shipping receipts and tracking information for returned goods until the return has been completed.

  1. Refunds

Where a refund is legally due, Gangnam Hub will process it in accordance with the applicable Korean electronic-commerce rules and the payment method used.

For returned goods, the refund period under Korean law generally begins from the date Gangnam Hub receives the returned goods. Where the law requires a refund within 3 business days, Gangnam Hub will comply with that requirement.

For card or other payment-provider transactions, Gangnam Hub will request cancellation or refund through the relevant payment provider without undue delay as required by law.

Where a refund is delayed in circumstances covered by mandatory Korean law, the applicable statutory delay compensation may apply.

  1. Exchanges

Where an exchange is requested because of a customerโ€™s change of mind, Gangnam Hub may require the customer to bear the applicable return and re-delivery costs where permitted by law.

Where the product is defective, damaged or incorrectly supplied, Gangnam Hub will provide the remedy required by applicable law, which may include replacement, exchange or refund.

  1. International Orders, Customs and Import Restrictions

International customers are responsible for providing accurate recipient and customs information and for cooperating with reasonable customs procedures.

Import duties, taxes, customs fees and destination-country requirements may differ by country. Customers should check their local import rules before placing an international order.

Gangnam Hub is not responsible for delays, refusal of entry or additional charges imposed by a destination-country customs authority when such matters are outside Gangnam Hubโ€™s control, subject to any mandatory rights the customer has under applicable law.

  1. Wholesale and Business Orders

Gangnam Hub also provides Korean beauty products on a wholesale/business basis. Wholesale pricing, minimum order quantities, payment terms, shipping arrangements, lead times and return conditions may be separately agreed in a quotation, invoice, purchase order or written business agreement.

Where the purchaser is acting in the course of a business rather than as a consumer, consumer withdrawal rights under Korean consumer law may not apply in the same manner. The specific written wholesale agreement will govern the business transaction to the extent permitted by applicable law.

  1. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, website content including Gangnam Hub logos, trademarks, text, graphics, product photography created by Gangnam Hub, page design and other original materials is owned by or licensed to Gangnam Hub.

No person may reproduce, copy, modify, distribute, commercially exploit or use Gangnam Hubโ€™s original website content or branding without prior written permission, except where permitted by law.

Third-party trademarks, brand names, product names and manufacturer materials remain the property of their respective owners.

  1. Customer Reviews and User Content

Where the website permits reviews or other user-generated content, customers must not submit unlawful, defamatory, misleading, abusive, infringing or fraudulent material.

Gangnam Hub may remove content that violates applicable law, these Terms, or reasonable website-use standards. Any use of customer content beyond what is reasonably necessary to operate the website will be subject to applicable law and, where required, consent.

  1. Website Use and Prohibited Conduct

Users must not misuse the website, interfere with its security or operation, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, use automated systems in a way that causes unreasonable load, or engage in fraudulent transactions.

Gangnam Hub may take reasonable measures to protect the website and customers against fraud, abuse and security threats.

  1. Website Availability and Third-Party Services

Gangnam Hub aims to keep gangnamhub.com available and accurate, but temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, technical failures, security incidents or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

The website may contain or rely on third-party services, payment systems, delivery providers, maps, analytics tools or external websites. Their services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

  1. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Changes will not retroactively remove rights already granted to a consumer under a completed transaction. Where applicable law requires notice or consent, Gangnam Hub will follow the required procedure.

Gangnam Hub will not rely on a blanket right to change these Terms โ€œat any time without prior noticeโ€ where such a change would conflict with mandatory consumer-protection requirements.

  1. Complaints and Dispute Resolution

Customers should first contact Gangnam Hub at contact@gangnamhub.com so that we can review and resolve complaints efficiently.

Nothing in these Terms prevents a consumer from using a legally available consumer-dispute resolution or complaint process. Mandatory consumer-protection rights and applicable jurisdictional rules continue to apply.

  1. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea to the extent applicable. For consumer transactions, mandatory consumer-protection laws applicable to the transaction will prevail over any conflicting provision of these Terms.

Any dispute will be handled in accordance with applicable Korean law and mandatory jurisdiction rules. Gangnam Hub will not use this clause to deprive a consumer of a mandatory right or forum available under applicable law.
